Colorado Springs -  november 2025

THURSDAY, 11/6, 9:00-12:00. Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road, Colorado Springs. Nice warm day in the forecast and there may still be some color on the trails and along the creeks. Restrooms available.

THURSDAY, 11/13, 9:00-12:00. Helen Hunt Falls, North Cheyenne Canyon. It’s pretty quiet this time of year so parking shouldn’t be a challenge. But if it’s full you can park below the falls along the creek or at the upper Powell parking lot (much to paint from up there, too). Gold Camp road is closed to vehicles up through there. Restrooms available. Just a note that cell coverage is spotty at best in the canyon but if you drive to the upper parking lot, cell signal is stronger up there. The weather is amazing for this time of year, as you no doubt already know! There are still wonderful bits of color remaining to be captured in your paintings.  I hope you enjoy it. 

Due to a previously scheduled medical appointment, I will be unable to join you, but I hope you will get the chance to capture some of the last bits of fall beauty up there.

WEDNESDAY, 11/19, 1:30-3:30 pm. Create Space, Library 21C. Still Life or Open Studio. (Note, this is the only day in November that was available in the Create Space). Bring items to paint for the still lifes and we will need a few more lights (Ionly have one). OR bring paintings you’re working on for open studio painting time. Bring a few cookies to share or bag lunches for yourselves. Restrooms available.

TUESDAY, 11/25, 9:00-12:00. Rock Ledge Ranch, Chambers Way & Pike, Colorado Springs, south end of Garden of the Gods Park. There are buildings, farm animals, ponds and waterfowl. Restrooms at the carriage house.
